As an established veteran of Vancouver's underground dance music scene, Glyn has worn many hats. Producing events in the late 90s as member of the future-minded Collective, he advanced the cutting edge of Vancouver's techno scene, hosting artists such as Tim Hecker, Loscil, Sutekh, Jeff Milligan, and Kim Cascone. Teaming up with long-time vinyl collaborators Abasi and Dr. Jones as Team Trainwreck, he was a primary instigator of the notorious Big Trouble mash-up dance party at the Lotus Sound Lounge. A secret weapon in the roster of local nightlife mainstay Intimate Productions, Glyn has been a crowd-pleasing fixture at their 9-year strong Legendary Long Weekend parties, and a regular guest at their Signal Saturdays and their numerous one-off events. He has been fortunate enough to warm up the decks for a wide array of international talent including Moby, Carl Craig, Fischerspooner, Paul Woolford, Fake Blood, Time Hecker, Lopazz, Jay Tripwire, Jeff Milligan, Tyler Stadius, Mat the Alien, and Neoteric. Balancing an adventurous and forward-thinking musical aesthetic with a solid finger on the pulse of the dancefloor, Glyn's versatile and artful track selection has made him a favorite with both local underground heads and debauched party-goers alike.
