It's that time of the year again, when we all get together and ring in the New Year. This marks the 13th annual Intimate NYE party, and we are excited to be back at the beautiful Chapel Arts! With two rooms of dancing and lots of room to mingle as well as some of Vancouver's top underground dance music DJs, this will be the best way to spend NYE. Whether the World ends or not, we are having a party! So take a chance, get your tickets, and let's celebrate 2013 together, Intimate style.

Wax Romeo Vancouver, Canada // Homebreakin Records Wax Romeo is undoubtedly the world's greatest lover, but when he's done blowing kisses at the mirror, he can be found tinkering away with knobs and buttons in his studio.

First Date Vancouver, Canada // Intimate Productions It wasn’t long after they met when First Date realized they should be banging out soulful music together. They share an instant chemistry, not only with each other but with the dance floor as well. With their mutual unwillingness to familiarize with genre elitism, First Date can be found playing everything under the sun.

Vinnie The Squid Vancouver, Canada // slowdjs Otherwise known as Techstyles, Vinnie the Squid has been a Dj for over 15 years specializing in flawlessly blending House, Hip-Hop, Breaks, and Funk; mashing them up perfectly with 80s, Rock, Disco, and Classics.

Abasi Vancouver, Canada // Intimate Productions, Red Lounge Having discovered and fallen in love with electronic music in 1991, Abasi started collecting and making mixed electronica tapes. Today, his record collection has grown beyond control, and includes a healthy mix of all genres of music. DJ Abasi owns/spins many different styles, but he currently specializes in house, techno/minimal, electro*, dancerock, italo/nu disco and mash-up/eclectic.

Glyn Vancouver, Canada // Intimate Productions Warehouse party survivor, partially-reformed techno snob, unapologetic disco infiltrator, indie rock apologist, not-so-closet poptimist, chronic message board lurker, town drunk. Not really sure what he’s going to write about, but promises there will be words and most likely sentences.

Norrie Taylor Vancouver, Canada // Norrie Taylor's influence on Vancouver's dance music culture is unquestionable. He has spent over a decade rocking rooms of every size, shape and smell with the same enthusiasm and appreciation for his listeners. Whether it be opening AND closing a packed room for the iconic MOBY, playing drums for Carlos Mendoza's (Lawn Chair Generals) LIVE BAND, Camina or 5 people in a friends kitchen, Norrie's dedication shines through.

Kraai Vancouver, Canada // Capadi Rebels Ibiza, SoulGroove Fresh off of a full season in Ibiza, Kraai’s passion for underground house music and culture is without limits.

U-Tee Vancouver, Canada // Intimate Productions Over the past 4 years, U-Tee (Ryan Enockson) has been involved in Vancouvers underground music scene.
