Over the past 4 years, U-Tee (Ryan Enockson) has been involved in Vancouvers underground music scene. Getting his start at the Warehouse Recording studio, U-Tee has since worked with many of the worlds top producers and artists. While working at the Warehouse, Ryan began to experiment with electronic music, developing a strong attraction to techno music. Within a few months of this revelation, Ryan dubbed the pseudo name U-Tee and began playing parties throughout the city. Since his initial introduction to the scene, U-Tee has become diverse in style by incorporating; techno, house, deep house, disco, funky house, tech house, uk funky, 2 step, drum and bass into his sets. It isn’t hard to find him out on any given night, always with a big smile on his face. 2012 proved to be a busy year, releasing a four part mix series titled Versions 1.0, which included mixes of various genres, sharing his influences from the surrounding scene. Sharing his passion for electronic composition, Ryan taught a music production clinic at the Basscoast Music Festival in Squamish BC. With an EP on the way, late 2012, U-Tee is looking forward to sharing his own productions with the world. Major influences include artists like Max Cooper, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Claude Von Stroke, Paul Woolford, Booka Shade, Longwalkshortdock, Kinky Movement, John Aquaviva, Animal Collective to name a few.
