★ LIFELIKE [France] ★
(Wall of Sound / Vulture / 20000ST)

LIFELIKE is one of the most talented producer in France’s celebrated dance-music scene. LIFELIKE is a French Artist, from the early French Touch music hours, living in PARIS. He started to release house music records in the late 90's under the pseudonym of "Ferris Bueller". His two first records instantly gained support from the biggest international artists and DJ's like THOMAS BANGALTER (Daft Punk), DJ Falcon or Pete Tong (Radio One/BBC).

His 2005 true underground hit "DISCOPOLIS", signed on Alan Braxe's label 'Vulture', became a huge worldwide hit. Ending up on a CD single re-release supported by an expensive and censored video, DISCOPOLIS entered the UK chart topping position 18° in Summer 2005, and went number one in the digital download chart for many weeks in 2006 after the re-release of the single on Defected Record. The track was co-written by the german producer Kris Menace and is still played today in Clubs all around the world...

His remixes work for some solid underground hyped Labels as Ed Banger, Vulture, Kitsuné, Modular or Backyard built him a strong reputation as a producer as well. He's today touring worldwide, from the USA to Australia among the best international DJ's from his time.

★ MINTEL ROSE [France] ★

Born in June 2006, Minitel Rose has all the qualities of a 2.0 band, who, without doing so nostalgically, looks and takes from the past whilst remaining firmly connected to the electro movement of today. Drugged on “do it yourself” and doped with a buzz going from West to East, these Frenchies have never fallen in the trap of a one hit wonder. In May 2008 in France, and in the autumn the same year in the rest of the world, the release of their mini album The French Machine, a compact mix of retro futurist electro pop, seduced the public and professionals alike. The tour that followed inaugurated a live performance even more electronic than their EP and they went on to perform in Les Transmusiclaes at Rennes (2008), in Russia, Spain, Germany and even in Bulgaria. The outlines of Atlantique were sketched while on the road, but it was pretty much with their feet in the water that Minitel Rose gave substance to this new album to come in June 2010. Between the humidity of a Sébastien Tellier, the scientific cult of electronic dreams à la New Order and the overexcitement of a Calvin Harris, Minitel Rose has just taught climate change a lesson : only one season is ever worth living : a never-ending summer with a clear blue sky, cradled in Atlantique’s electronic flows.
