DAN BULL (Aspect Media)
Born in the UK, but raised in Canada, Dan has over 12 years of DJ'ing under his belt. From small underground clubs, to large parties and festivals, Dan has had the opportunity to play alongside some of dance music's heaviest hitters. In collaboration with Jay Tripwire, he has released music that has been charted and played by the likes of John Digweed, Danny Howells, and Evil Eddie Richards, to name a few. While he would describe his sound as "firmly rooted in house," you can always expect to hear from him an eclectic mix of it's variations. Expect the dance floor full for his return to The Lotus.

SKAI (EMM, CocoonClub, Frankfurt)
SKAI's musical career started anno 1994. Soon after the son of Chilean immigrants finished his education as a DJ in Wiesbaden’s Park Café, he consequently was responsible for Saturday’s schedule there. 15 years later SKAI is considered as one of the most influential DJs either in the Rhein-Main-Area as well as in the international scene. Gigs in Ibiza, Zürich, Barcelona and Vancouver and of course his residency at the world famous CocoonClub in Frankfurt outline this image.

But that is not certainly everything that stands out in SKAIs career. For seven years SKAI directed the fate of the 50degree (www.50grad.de) as a booker and Resident-DJ and for another eight years he has been one of the headliners for Frankfurts event-agency Envy (www.envymymusic.com). Furthermore, he released the single “Mir Geht’s Gut”, which was a heavy success, and works on further releases with his long-time mate and DJ-Partner Amir under the alias Groove Rebels. But top-notch of SKAI’s career remains his passion for Housemusic, which never impaired even when he slipped into other music-genres in the past. No, through the renaissance of Housemusic especially through labels like Cecille, 8Bit or Oslo SKAI’s passion for groovy, driving and percussive music appeared – his personal rebirth followed.

2009 started with significant personal as well as occupational changes caused by SKAIs removal to Vancouver, scene of the Winter Olympics in 2010. Due to the changeover SKAI definitely outstripped his local image and stepped into the footprints of a respected international artist. On Canada’s East side, which had already been on his DJ-agenda before his immigration, his appearances enjoyed an increasingly popularity. The bottom line is that SKAI currently belongs to the resident DJ squad of the famous afterhour-institution“Gorg-O-Mish”. Furthermore, his DJ-schedule will be extended by appearances in well-known cities like Seattle, Calgary and Whistler in the near future. Nevertheless, his fans in Germany must not entirely abandon the option to see a live performance of the Chilean DJ since gigs in the world-famous CocoonClub are still part and parcel of his DJ-Schedule.

WOODHEAD (Signal, Intimate, saunasessions.ca | Vancouver)
What's happens after someone has spent years touring the dive bars of North America, sleeping on stranger's couches, eating cigarettes and coffee for breakfast, honing their bass chops in bands that played everything from punk to jazz? They wise up, step out of the van, take their hard-earned musical lessons and become one of Vancouver's premier DJs. By 2008 DJ Woodhead was holding down Vancouver residencies at Shine, Lotus, The Dollhouse, Backstage Lounge and Dirty Beats In Whistler and performing under the sunshine and starry nights of highly anticipated festivals like Shambhala outside Nelson BC, Soundwave on Vancouver Island, as well as Mezzanine in Tulum Mexico, Hi-Fi Club in Calgary AB, Tommy Africa's and Maxx Fish in Whistler BC, Spirit bar in Nelson BC.

Now a resident DJ at the Lotus Lounge's Signal Saturday, you can check out DJ Woodhead's blend of bass heavy tech house and electro on Saunasessions.ca, Punch Out (Homebreakin Records' Sister label), Clocktower Records, E.C.I (Korea), Plasma Digital, T.K.G and his own label Skookum Music (launching early 2010).
